Amelia Alliston Recognised with 2025 Master Builders Women in Building Award

Edwards Constructions is proud to congratulate Project Administrator Amelia Alliston on being named the recipient of the 2025 Master Builders NSW Southern Regions Women in Building Award. The award recognises Amelia's outstanding contribution to the construction industry, her dedication to supporting those around her, and her commitment to encouraging more women to pursue careers in construction.

With more than 13 years of industry experience, Amelia has built a career founded on professionalism, collaboration and continuous improvement. Beyond her role at Edwards Constructions, she is passionate about promoting opportunities for women in the industry through school engagement programs, community initiatives and mentoring. Her recognition is a testament to the positive impact she continues to make within our team, our industry and the wider community.

Reflecting on the award, Amelia said,

"I've never been motivated by recognition—my passion has always been about making a positive difference in our industry. Throughout my career, I've experienced first-hand how important it is to feel supported, respected and valued, particularly as a woman in construction. Receiving this award is an incredible honour, but more importantly, it gives me another opportunity to encourage young women to explore the many rewarding careers our industry has to offer. I also share this recognition with the colleagues and mentors who have supported me from the very beginning. Their encouragement has played a significant role in shaping the confidence and passion I have for this industry today, and I'm incredibly grateful for their support."

We are incredibly proud of Amelia's achievement and congratulate her on this well-deserved recognition.
