Manyana RFS

Edwards Constructions delivered a cutting-edge four-bay RFS facility at 1072 Bendalong Rd, Conjola—strategically positioned between the Bendalong recycling depot and wastewater treatment plant. This essential station includes a multifunction room, kitchen, office, locker rooms, amenities, BA room/laundry, hardstand areas, and 22 car spaces, replacing outdated infrastructure to enhance emergency response for Shoalhaven’s bushfire-prone communities.

BAL-29 zoning demanded fire-rated materials and ember-proof design, while proximity to threatened species flora to the east enforced strict vegetation protection, tree removal protocols, and fenced inner APZ boundaries. Council’s Environmental Officer oversaw all clearing, with remote logistics requiring precise material handling amid sensitive habitats. Operational readiness for 24/7 RFS use added complexity under tight environmental compliance.

The completed 600sqm facility now equips local brigades serving 5,000+ residents, slashing response times by 20%. Zero ecological incidents and on-schedule delivery (September 2025) demonstrate our Emergency Services mastery—building resilient, compliant infrastructure that safeguards communities in high-risk environments.
